On November 29 about a hundred people enjoyed the trip organized by the City through the Department of Culture and Heritage to the city of Cartagena.
The program contained a guided tour of some of the most emblematic of this city as the Punic Wall, the Castillo de la Concepción, bomb shelters and the Teatro Romano.
Given the large number of people who were interested in participating in this trip, the City had to increase to two the number of buses that traveled to the city department.
In order to ease access to places to visit, they formed two groups and each of them had set a different itinerary, both just agreed to lunch.
Within the program of leisure travel is booked, many took the opportunity to visit City Hall, a medieval market and the newly opened National Museum of Underwater Archaeology celebrating that day an open day.
As with all trips, participants proposed new destinations to visit in the future, among them include: the vistit to the monumental Córdoba, Granada, Lorca Taller del Tiempo.
The Department of Culture and Heritage reported that examine these and other places to visit as it wants to continue the program of cultural tours in the coming year 2009.
