The local mayor, Juan Romero, signed today, Thursday 11 December, a collaboration agreement with Caixa for microcredit financing, in this event also attended by the Councillor of Finance, Jose Lopez, the Town and Country Social, Fina García, the director of the office of "la Caixa" in the town, Miguel Sánchez and Microbank responsible in the areas of Alicante and Murcia, Victoria Ros.
The agreement between the City Microbank and facilitate the lending of small amounts aimed at those with difficulty accessing traditional credit system, people with limited resources and vulnerable groups.
It will support and encourage productive activity, the creation of innovative projects for people with entrepreneurial spirit and personal development with job creation.
The criteria for granting microcredit by MicroBank serves primarily to personal confidence and viability of projects to fund, customers can access them devoid of assurances and guarantees required by the traditional financial system.
Social Microcredit These have a value limit of 15,000 euros, focusing on the creation of productive activity with the potential to facilitate the inclusion of disadvantaged people accessing more easily get a job.
The social character of microcredit is supported by the fact that over 44% of microentrepreneurs are women and over 57% are immigrants, two sectors of the population with greater difficulties in accessing the labor market.
Also, it advises that all proposals will be answered whether or not accepted.
