Councilwoman Celebrations of the City of Alhama, Maria Elena Marín, this morning the schedule of Carnival 2009.
The mayor has begun reporting on the children's carnival, which starts on Friday 20 February with the Children's Parade starting at 16:00 hours in the evening and leaving from the Avenue of the Constitution, the council to seize the opportunity to invite all citizens to enjoy this massive colorful as this year will participate the 6 schools in the municipality and 4 kindergartens.
On Sunday 22 February at the Constitution Square, from 11.30am there will be a children's animation workshops, games, inflatables, carnival makeup, etc ...
The traditional Carnival Parade will be Saturday February 28 from 16:30 pm and the output is from the Plaza de la Constitution.

1 st Prize: 180 euros and trophy
2 nd Prize: 120 euros and trophy
3 rd Prize: 90 euros and trophy
4 th Prize: 60 euros and trophy
5 th Prize: 50 euros and trophy
2 runners-up trophies consisting
Special consolation prize for the best group of Peñas Visitors
Individual awards:
1 st prize: 100 euros and trophy
2 nd Prize: 60 euros and trophy
3 rd Prize: 50 euros and trophy
Second prize consisting of a trophy.
The troupes and groups involved must have a minimum of 10 components and must be over 15 years to receive the subsidy of 250 euros.
Registration can be done in the House of Culture until 19 February.
