The Minister of Social Policy, Bascuñana Joaquín García, accompanied by his team of Directors held on Monday, March 2, the Social Policy Council in the city of Alhama de Murcia, took occasion to lay the cornerstone of what many months will be the new Center for Child Care of the town.
During the event were the mayor of the municipality, Juan Romero Canovas accompanied by several members of the Municipal Government Team.
This new center will be located on Cherry Street next to The Day Care Center and will accommodate 74 children, aged between four and 36 months of age.
The project was explained to the authorities by the architects in charge, has been awarded 749,801 euros, of which the Autonomous Community to provide 500,000 euros and the rest of the city of Alhama de Murcia.
