The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Celebration, has called for a further year the competition to design the poster for the Fiesta de Los Mayos.
The mayor of Celebration, Maria Elena Marín, was aware of the details of the call at a press conference held on Tuesday 10.
The mayor stressed that the contest may be interested persons of any age or nationality, provided that the design is based on any aspect of the fiesta of Los Mayos de Alhama.
The conditions will be free (painting, photography, mixed) provided they are suitable for reproduction in print and measures should be 50 x 70 cms.
In addition, work must include the text "Fiesta de Los Mayos.

You should also receive the shield and anagrams of Murcia Tourist Region and City of Alhama Murcia.
Applicants may qualify for a single prize of 290 euros and the winning design will be the poster for the local festivals.
The jury will consist of the council of Celebration, two representatives of Municipal Council of Celebration and painters, designers and photographers.
The deadline expires next March 27, 2009 and the decision will be made public on Thursday 2 April.
