Call the mobilization of workers "to the cuts in labor rights
The Communist Party of the Region of Murcia (PCRM-PCE) today expressed its solidarity with Andrés Ariza, ElPozo worker recently dismissed and condemned the "selective layoff policy" carried out by the business entity, according to PCRM-PCE.
Ariza has been a member of the Company in the area of Prevention of Occupational Risks by CCOO ElPozo until 2006 and has played within it "consistently" for their trade union.
After 18 years working in ElPozo headquarters, located in Alhama de Murcia, Ariza has been fired, the company alleges, to "reach an hour late for his job."
"What this really highlights is the anti-union dismissal which many workers currently fighting for their rights," party sources said.
They added that "in this type of attack, and cuts in pay and rights posed by the Employer to resolve the crisis, the PCRM called for the mobilization of workers, not to make us pay the consequences."
