Last session Celebration City Council deliberated the nomination to the Rock "Peak" as Mayor Corremayo 2009.

Therefore, the local mayor, Juan Romero Canovas, Councilwoman Celebrations, Maria Elena Marín Cánovas, and board members of Celebration, went on Friday, March 27, to pass on the news to the six components of the rock.

The reason has been given this honor to the Rock Peak this year is recognition of their continued participation, promotion and distribution in the traditional festival of the Mayos, with its special contribution to achieving the Mayos as Cruces de Mayo, as the implementation of Mayo is the mainstay of such parties
