The City of Alhama de Murcia reports through the Ministry of Women and Migration Social Policy, the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), manages Economic Benefits Individual Integration and Social Protection which can be requested from the Municipal Centre of Social Services of the locality.
At present and until the day April 30, 2009, left open the filing deadlines for non-recurrent grants as follows:
- FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR SENIORS, for persons over 60 residing in the Region of Murcia, are pensioners on the contributory or non-contributory and their spouses provided that there is economic dependence.
Within these grants may request Homecare basic appliances Buying necessities (washing machine, fridge, stove, heater), Repair and Adaptation of Housing and Prosthetics (glasses, dentures and hearing aids and treatment,).
- NO AID period of entry and Welfare, aimed at households or coexistence, individuals and groups residing in the Region of Murcia manifestly lacking financial resources to meet the need that gives rise to the request for assistance.
Until November 15, 2009, left open the Application Deadline SPECIAL HELP FOR THE ATTENTION OF EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES, designed to meet individual or family of people who are affected by exceptional circumstances and situation of grave necessity, can not be met through other resources.
Throughout the year, a person may apply for other aid on a regular basis.
