On Saturday, April 17th, the 2nd Stage of Tour of Cartagena XXVIII Elite U-23 Back to the Region of Murcia was held in the town.

This Tour was held from 16 to 19 April, consisted of 15 teams with seven riders each, among which included two alhameños: Gabriel Sanchez and Paul Contentpolis Team Aitor Bernal of the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

For the town, began, went and finished in the second stage with a distance of 122 kilometers.

The runner Pablo Lechuga Rodriguez, Andalucía-Cajasur team was the winner of this stage-Alhama Alhama, which invested 3 hours, 13 minutes and 17 seconds.
