The local mayor, Juan Romero Canovas, along with the councilman of Culture, Jesus Basauri, inaugurated on April 24 at the Exhibition Hall of the Cultural Center Plaza Vieja, the contest I Cartoons for Kids, this is a contest organized by the city of Alhama de Murcia through the Department of Culture and Heritage, through the Municipal Archives
This competition, aimed at pupils of 4 th, 5 th and 6 th grade, begins in order to edit in the future a comic about Alhama, where be reflected in comic highlights of our people, seen and drawn from the perspective of children.
The theme for this year was the Festival of Los Mayos and Easter.
Besides the large turnout of students, about 200, from all local schools, including parishes, we note the great skill and imagination that showed many of the children in his cartoons.
The cartoons will be shown at the Exhibition Hall Cultural Center Plaza Vieja until 6 May.
The winners were:
1 st prize worth 100 euros: Patricia Molina Lopez of course 6 º B of the Public School Espuña
2 nd prize with an amount of 80 euros: Elena Ceron Lucas of course 5 º A Espuña CP.
3 rd prize sum of 40 euros: Antonio Soriano Gonzalez of course 6 º B CP Espuña.
The second prize given to an amount of 20 euros each were:
Awatif Hassouni 5 º B CP Gines San Cristóbal Díaz.
Salvador Rubio González and Sara Vidal Belchí 4-CP grade of Prince of Spain.
Andrea Muñoz Pagán of 6 th grade U.S. The Coast Center.
