Alhama City Council through the Department of Employment and Local Development Company is working with the Foundation and Knowledge in the organization and conduct of Basic Course on Prevention of Occupational Risks was opened the afternoon of May 4 by the mayor of Employment, Jose Lopez.
This course will run for 50 hours and was conducted in the Training and Employment Center in the town between 4 May and 4 June, Monday to Thursday 20.30 hours to 23 h.
The recipients of this training are workers, mainly occupied with education level of Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent.
The course is funded by the Regional Employment Service and Training and the European Social Fund, will be taught by Mercedes Lopez, Diploma in Labour Relations and Montserrat Garcia, Bachelor of Law and Technology and Safety.
The objectives of the course is that students learn in general, what are the risks, what are the Personal Protective Equipment and how to use properly.
Also, to the legal framework for the prevention of occupational hazards and risks which are specific work as well as first aid to be taken in case of accident.
