The local mayor, Juan Romero Canovas, together with the Councillor for Sports, Jesus Basauri and the President of Motoclub Alhama, José García Serrano, presented the 51 edition of the Championship of Spain in the Elite MX Motocross region that houses the town on Sunday May 24th at the Circuito de las Salinas.

This has also been one of the two local drivers, Juan Jose Garcia with Jose Sanchez "El Pollo", will represent the Alhama de Murcia event.

The Championship will start from 10:00 hours, starting the 1st Round at 11:00.
