The local mayor, Juan Romero Canovas, accompanied by the headman of the Coast, José Andrés Muñoz, and the President of the Party Commission of the Coast, Benito Carrasco, presented the Coast Festival 2009 in honor of His Holy St. Peter the Apostle patron.
These parties started with the II Pilgrimage in honor of San Pedro, on Sunday, June 21, accompanied by the crew of the Coast, where he hosted a breakfast for all the pilgrims donated by residents of the neighborhood.
The festivities will last all week until the day of San Pedro that although pattern is Monday 29 June, will be held on Sunday, June 28, with a great day of activities beginning at 9:00 am with the large circulation of rockets in honor of St. Peter the Apostle, at 10:00 hours will be held in the solemn procession to accompany the musical group Band of Alhama, and then the Mass will be held accompanied by music Coast crew.
At 14:00 there will be a giant paella for attendees.
Later, at 19:00 will take place the tape on a motorcycle race.
Also install a free inflatable for children and 22:00 hours verbena "Nerea" liven up the party, where during the course of the same will be delivered the trophies to the winners of competitions held during the holidays.
The grand finale will take place at 24:00 pm with a bonfire and throwing rockets and fireworks in honor of the great patron Saint Peter.
