In this situation, and given that this summer is being especially dangerous, so rainy winter we had and the hot and dry summer so we are suffering, the mayor of Civil Protection advised to take certain measures, on the other hand, are reflected in Order May 27, 2009, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, laying down measures for the prevention of forest fires in the region of Murcia.
These measures, according to the order indicated, are as follows:
Article 1 .- Purpose.
This Order is to determine the preventive measures
be observed to prevent forest fires in the Region of Murcia
during 2009.
Article 2 .- Scope.
This Order applies to all land defined as forest
by Article 5 of Law 43/2003 on Forestry, as well as for any
use falling within the range of 400 meters around those last,
in accordance with the provisions of Article 20 of the Rules of Fire
Forest.
Article 3 .- Period of risk.
Establishing the time of the hazard for fire prevention
forest, the period between 1 May and 30 September
2009 inclusive.
Article 4 .- Land outdoors.
With respect to the use of fire, is defined outdoor area all that in

Article 5 .-. preventive measures.
In the scope of this Order which includes establishing
for the year 2009 the following preventive measures:
1 .- The use of fire in open air-fuel

- For the use of other types of fuels must take action
precautionary designed to avoid any risk of fire spread,
are expressly forbidden to light fires under trees or on the field

2 .- During the period of risk which is determined in Article 3 of the
This Order prohibits the use of fire in places qualified,
requiring specific permission for any purpose or use exceptional
those places.

3 .- It is well established in general the following prohibitions:

authorized waste, with the passage of time or other circumstances may

3.4.

may impinge on forest land, except for traditional holidays

fire.
3.6.

3.7.

Article 6 .- agricultural burning and forest in the scope
of the Order.
1.
It prohibits, in general, the performance of agricultural burning and
forest at the time of danger. However authorizations may be granted
exceptional in this period that the fires are intended to prevent damage
caused by pests or prevent other more serious risks.
Finally, the council of the government team noted that "if we meet all these standards and strive to meet those around us, we will be helping to avoid situations of risk that could be very dangerous."
Also remember that for every eventuality citizens should call as soon as possible to the emergency number 112 and clarified that "in these cases it is better to err on the side by default."
