Motion: CREATION OF A CITY SCHOOL OF THEATRE
The Municipal Theatre Workshop City Council AUGER Alhama de Murcia has won for the third year running, the VI Buero Youth Theatre Awards in regional phase in the Region of Murcia with the work: "The visits should be prohibited by Criminal Code, "based on texts by Miguel Mihura dramatized by Ignacio del Moral and Ernesto Caballero.
These Awards are one of the young theater events leading our country, with the support of the Ministries of Culture, Ministry of Education and Science, its importance has been increasing since the curtain rose in 2003, reaching the latest edition of a stake of about 200 groups.
Our group wants to take this opportunity to congratulate all the family that make this theater workshop, mothers, fathers and partners.
But, especially, students and more emphasis on his teacher, José María Cánovas Vera.
We will not dwell on explaining his career as a person and an artist, since, as was recognized in his election as the harbinger of the holidays last year.
But if we express our wish that your work is recognized and selfless, as professor of municipal workshop AUGER.
This award is a detail of the samples alhameños as expressive of their contribution and love for the theater.
Gone are those wonderful 80's, with the theater debauchery and enormous support alhameña culture.
Many were the scenes where Alhama has been recognized by the art of theater.
Therefore, and in homage to that amount of alhameñas citizens, actors and spectators, over the last thirty years have claimed to Alhama a place in the theater scene, we believe that the political forces should make one last effort and put the icing on the cake, which now emanates from good health, creating MUNICIPAL THEATRE SCHOOL.
For all these reasons, this group, concerned with promoting culture and education of our citizens, proposes that the Municipal Council of the City Council the adoption of the following agreements:
FIRST: Creation of the Municipal School of Theatre for the 2009/10 academic year, with writing and prior approval of its statutes, internal regulations and operation.
SECOND: Designate as Director of the Municipal School of Theatre, D.
Cánovas M ª José Vera, personal current city officials, if deemed appropriate by the person concerned.
THIRD: Enable, as far as possible, the Cultural Centre The Granary as an area of the School of Drama.
Fourth: Develop a broad range of programs and activities (0-6 years old children's theater, theater school, regional youth theater festival, theater and older adults, training courses, workshops, puppetry, mime, clown ....)
FIFTH: Order of the political forces that shape the city council, their commitment and adherence to the initiative presented in this motion for review and approval.
