- The number of participants this year, 59, has taken a bit of a surprise to the organizers who have valued highly the experience of starting with this hiking route festive events.
The participants began to focus on the esplanade of the Shrine of Gebas and the Social Hall at the scheduled time of 8:30 in the morning.
We conducted a ceremonial signing control, like a bicycle tour of importance and, of course, the group photo.
Some people mistook the date, day 9, with the departure time, but at the height of the Restaurant El Mirador is incorporated these new troops.
The march proceeded without incident highlights at an easy pace, appropriate to the many participants of all ages and physical conditions, crossing the traditional route, parallel to the Rambla de Algeciras mostly wide roads and the odd way to go " in Indian file. "
About 10.30 the bulk of the group reached the village of El Berro, focused on Camping and made lunch, with sandwich and soda by the Organization.
Around the conduct "on demand": the majority of participants made a return after lunch, others stayed at the campsite to enjoy a relaxing bath and chilly, waiting for collection or return power back foot.
The route back was made by the Trench area and the tunnel, which so much interest among the walkers.
The Neighborhood Association wants to thank the large share of the business to all who have helped in the organization, provision and supplies, and especially to Camping "Espuña," his manager, Andres Lara, and the entire staff for their welcome and cooperation all these years.
