The local mayor, Juan Romero Canovas, together with the Councillor of Celebration, Maria Elena Marín, presented the book of the 2009 Festivities to be held from 2 to 12 October.

The book will begin shipping by local households from next Friday 25th September.

Some new festival program this year are changing and Chupinazo Day Proclamation, and instead be held on Saturday, a day before, Friday 2nd October.

Like the traditional parade of floats to be held in place on Saturday, on Sunday 11 October.
