The local mayor, Juan Romero Canovas, together with the Secretary of the Delegation of the Government, Juan José Camarasa, opened the evening on Friday 2nd October, the Pedestrian "La Cubana" on the Don Diego de la Rambla locality.
This tour is a project of the Local Investment Fund, sponsored by the National Executive.
Located in an area with high traffic flow adjacent to the exhibition center of the town that had not met all the safety and accessibility to pedestrians and that much of it there were no sidewalks.
The work consists of a walk of 3.5 meters wide, limiting the side of the park and the farm La Cubana Las Menas with the Rambla de Don Diego.
In addition, the ride has been installed appropriate lighting and elms have been planted, type of trees that formerly existed in the area, thus recovering one of the landmarks of the city walks.
The investment for this project has reached 265,898 euros, making the hiring of several workers for what he has promoted employment in the locality.
