The town of Alhama welcomed on the morning of Sunday 20 the opening of the Bethlehem Municipal Archaeological Museum located in the "Los Baños", an act that took place during the awards belong to the winners of the Crib and Cards Christmas, respectively.

The alhameños attended the event, which also was attended by the Mayor of the municipality, Juan Romero, along with several members of the Local Government Team.

The opening ceremony also featured the performance of Grupo Folklorico Villa de Alhama who played many Christmas carols.

On the other hand, did Awards Contest Nativity and Christmas cards:

On Wednesday, December 16, 2009, the jury Contest Nativity this year, chaired by the Councillor for Culture and Heritage Jesus Basauri Méndez, and as members Maria Elena Marín Cánovas, Diego Valero Martinez and Simon Garcia Diaz, decided unanimously award the following prizes:
