The House of Culture yesterday afternoon welcomed the sweet contest organized by the Department of Consumer Affairs and Trade.

A jury of experts in restoration and members of the government team determined, after tasting all the sweets and deliberate, leaving the desert and give first prize the second and third prize.

The second prize of 100 euros was for sugared almonds Isabel Martínez Clares.
The Consumer mayor said the jury had identified the opportunity to rescue the marzipan Alhama already in his day was known in the region and also meet the requirements to be a sweet easy to handle, no great need for conservation and transfer.
José Miguel Muñoz said they would convene a new competition looking for that first prize to be forfeited and whose expectations perhaps, to cover the marzipan with the original recipe or any others that are able to achieve a quality product that represents our town.
The mayor noted as a possible date for holding the new contest La Candelaria.
