This morning, the mayor of Alhama, Juan Romero, accompanied by Soledad Tudela, Councillor for Women and Fina García, Councillor for Social Policy, have closed the "Self-Esteem Workshop" held in the Reading Room of the Municipal Center Senior the locality (where is located the CAVI) and the course of "Intervention Techniques and Dependent Elderly", held at the Local Employment Centre.
The 11 women who made the "Workshop on Self-esteem" have benefited from the use of a meeting between the actual female population that has allowed them to create a social support network, as well as their full integration into the community, along with achievement and maintenance of the corresponding integral health.
Moreover, the course "Techniques of Intervention and Dependent Elderly", in which 26 women participated in the town, making the claim has completed initial training and, consequently, providing the necessary training students in the development of home help or care to elderly residents in specialized centers.
The representatives of the City Council thanked all the women participation and interest shown at all times.
