Alhama City Council, through its Department of Public Works and Services and the headman of Las Cañadas, Legaz Antonio Valero, has undertaken a complete renovation of the atrium of the church of Our Lady of La Cabeza, La Molata.
This improvement was being sought by the residents and even the village headman, as the voice of its neighbors, highlighted the need to the government team.
The Department of Works and Services gathered the evidence and developed the works were inaugurated on 25 by the municipal mayor, Juan Romero Canovas, the headman of the Canadas, Antonio Valero Legaz and council Works and Services, Alfonso Morales Fernando Cerón .
Also present was the mayor of Finance, Jose Lopez.
The performance consisted of earthmoving necessary to improve accessibility to the chapel, incorporating small steps to allow paving areas with slopes of less than 8%.
It has also been paved with cobblestones the area, has repaired the retaining wall and the enclosure walls of the parking area.
It also has built an artificial stone and cast-iron railing on the wall.
Basins have been installed, drip irrigation and planting of trees.
The investment has seen the amount of about 60,000 euros.
