I deeply regret having to appear in new media, who thought that after the press conference I gave on Tuesday January 12 in which I gave my views on the withdrawal by the mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Juan Romero, on the spokesperson of the Municipal People's Party and two of the departments that I have delegated had been settled this sad affair and I could continue with my duties.

On Thursday January 14 Juan Romero told me that urgently had to sign a paper he had left his secretary and the other elected officials should also stop by to sign it.

That paper contained my resignation as spokesman for the popular municipal or compliance with which he was, and I say supposed because I gave no further details.

I replied that this was not the way that things can talk, his answer was very simple in this regard needed the signed document, or yes for that day or they should abide by the consequences, it is certainly clear example of his ability to talk.

Later I learned that by late Friday night, despite the sad events in our town with the fire at the factory of El Pozo and had us all in suspense, a meeting was held at City Hall which was not convened between the mayor and several council members of my party to address this issue.

I'm sorry but I do not accept the behaviors and situations they are submitting me.

I came into politics with enthusiasm and with the intention to serve my people, to give the best of myself to benefit the community and work together for a common goal: to enlarge the extent of our ability to Alhama de Murcia.

But I guarantee that when I made that decision did not expect what I experienced during this time, did not believe that this government team does not count for anything and be constantly blackmailed and pressured under the assumption of command and control.

I've worked, I kept silent, I have been cautious, respectful and I have not spoken publicly about it for two and a half years, although I often had reason to.

I assure you that I have had to endure during this time many unpleasant situations.

It is very sad for me as a Councillor for Culture seeing your mayor is counting on you, I will give just one example of the construction of future Municipal Auditorium.

This is, without doubt, a project for the Department that I represent is critical but has not even told us.

I'm not saying I would include me or other council related to the project on the jury who studied it, I could have done and did not, it has not even had the courtesy to discuss the projects presented or invited me to who knows , no nothing.

I had to know the winning project through the website of our consistory.

In truth I tell you that I no longer think, if the ability of the Mayor responds to a hunt for anyone who thinks differently to you, if this is your way to eliminate that he understands are his political rivals, if it is your desire to prominence that has no limits, do not know.

Only two years ago and destroyed half a team and missed an absolute majority of our party, in this legislature has prevented us from having it and is being charged to another team and I am sure that if he should have another opportunity to re-do same, so you can not work.

Most important are our citizens who are the ones who have chosen us and are paying our wages and do not have to carry the consequences that such behavior generates.

All these maneuvers are only blur the local political climate and more when the time comes to implement the agreement in exchange for mayor in our town.

I do not want to cast doubt on my commitment to the word given by my party, and that this situation can be used by others to tinker and do not comply with it.

I assure you that God willing, on 28th January in the House that is determined by the new mayor will abide by my word and I will vote for the inauguration as new mayor José Espadas.

I am member of the Popular Party since 1993 and I firmly believe that I belong to a democratic party and serious where I am convinced that these behaviors are an exception and does not represent, not everything is political.

A political status will be adding behaviors and values that magnify and that no harm giving the impression that citizens have no scruples to keep power.

Fortunately, not all are equal there are people for which above all are its values and principles, therefore, put the posts of councilors and Municipal People's spokesperson available to my party, after the inauguration of New Mayor for him to take the decisions it deems appropriate.
