As planned, the new mayor of Alhama, José Espadas Lopez, has appointed the headman of the five districts of the municipality.
The representatives of the Mayor took office yesterday afternoon before the conclusion of the extraordinary session of Parliament that took place later.
The mayor wanted to thank the hard work and dedication of the former headman, existing mostly in the act, who presented his resignation at the same time as did the former mayor, Juan Romero.
José Espadas clarified that the appointment of new headman responded to the guidelines set by the agreement of Government PP - PSOE, and that at no time that meant a change for poor management.
The mayor added that both sides would work towards a common goal of all: to improve the quality of life for residents.
The appreciation of the work of the previous headman distinction was reiterated in the political groups.
For its part, the mayor of Pedanías, Soledad Tudela, welcomed them and encouraged them to work for the municipality.
Immediately afterwards held the appointment of five new people to communicate the needs of individual towns to the Consistory.
Therefore, Antonio García Hernández become headman of El Berro, Manuel Canovas Gambín, headman of Gebas, Ana Belén García García, headman of Cañar, José Antonio Cánovas Alcon, headman of the Coast and Antonio Muñoz Casas, headman of Las Cañadas.
