The hall of the City Council has welcomed this morning's awards ceremony for the course organized by the Department of Social Policy entitled "Strategies for Personal Autonomy and Social Skills Development."
The delivery of diplomas has been in charge of the mayor of Alhama, José Espadas Lopez and general manager of IMAS, John Brown and the head of Social Policy, Fina García.
This is the second edition of the course since its first celebration was very successful and was demanded by users.
12 students have participated trained personal, social and professional.
Specifically, the course has been divided into:
Personal Growth Workshop: The aim was to strengthen self-esteem.
Workshop socialization has been aimed at developing attitudes and skills for social participation.
Professional Skills Workshop: It has provided students with the necessary initiative to get out of unemployment and social dependence.
Workshop and use: It has given students the basics to tackle the job market.
Specific occupational training workshops, also have been able to experience through a one-day visit to the Day Care Centre for Older Persons.
